PawStops Privacy Policy

PawStops is a pet-travel planning app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information You Provide
You may enter trip details such as starting location, destination, pet type, pet profile details, vaccination notes, medication notes, microchip information, care notes, primary vet information, saved trips, checklist progress, and optional business partner-interest information.
How Information Is Stored
Saved trips, pet profile details, checklist progress, and partner-interest entries are stored locally on your device or browser. PawStops does not require an account in the current release.
Live Route And Place Planning
When you generate a live trip, PawStops may send your starting location, destination, route coordinates, and search categories to the PawStops planning server so the app can request route and place results from Google Maps Platform services. Weather-related route checks may use public National Weather Service data for U.S. route points.
Purchases And Trip Allowances
Google Play processes PawStops Plus purchases and payment details. PawStops receives a purchase token and subscription status from Google Play, stores a one-way hash of the token, and records live-trip usage needed to verify access and enforce the plan allowance. PawStops does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
How Information Is Used
PawStops uses app information to build route plans, show pet-travel stop categories, display care and break options, save trip readiness details, and improve the app experience during testing.
Sharing
PawStops does not sell your personal information. Live planning and purchase verification may be processed by service providers needed to operate the app, including hosting, map/place data providers, and Google Play.
Children
PawStops is not directed to children under 13.
Your Choices
You can clear saved trips and local app data from within the app or by clearing the app/browser storage on your device.
